Louisiana Catch by Sweta Srivastava Vikram

Louisiana Catch was a novel that spoke to me on so many levels. Ahana is a character that many women can relate to; she’s trying to find her place in an unknown world and discovering who she is after such a devastating past. What makes this book special is the contrast in cultures plus the modern aspect of meeting new friends and finding new love interests online, which is something that we can all relate to in today's society. This was a well-written story that explored many different themes while connecting the reader to strong characters who made the story feel complete. While not for the faint of heart, I would recommend this book for readers who want to explore the depths of their heart and those wanting to understand what it means to be a woman in the modern day world.
