In Between by Jenny B Jones
LOL! This was a hilariously funny story and I literally laughed out loud several times on the train while reading this book. In Between tells the story of Katie, a teenager who leaves her group home to be adopted by a family in a small town. If you look deeper, you'll see that behind Katie's humor and wit is a girl who just wants to be loved and just wants to fit in somewhere. Reading Katie's story offered a glimpse into what it is like to be a foster child and constantly move from home to home, and it made me that much more appreciative for my own two parents. Truly, Katie's journey is quite well worth the read and I promise that you will love the beginning, the end, and everything In Between (nice play on words, huh?) :)
