Thicker than Blood by CJ Darlington

By now, you should know that I'm very interested in books that explore relationships between women who are related (ie: mothers & daughters, sisters, etc). This book delivered on that point! The book examines the relationship between two sisters, Christy and May, who finally reunite after spending years apart. Christy's life is in turmoil because she has forever surrounded herself with shady people. May, on the other hand, has turned to God to cope with her problems and lives a more peaceful life, despite the fact that her farm is about to be foreclosed.

If anyone has ever wondered how two people who grew up with the same parents, in the same environment, can turn out to be completely opposite of each other, this book offers a glimpse into how such a thing is possible. With this book, Darlington explores how to cope with tragedy and what it means to forgive.
