Hmm...where do I start? We all have that inner kid in us and I definitely consider myself a "big kid" sometimes, BUT Carly takes the cake! Her love for Disney movies, soundtracks, and collector's items is quite...out there to say the least! Yet, a part of me understands her desire to return to a world that was less scary and a lot more simple. Being an adult isn't all that it is cracked up to be, quite frankly. Anyway, back to the plot! This book drove me insane and kept me turning page after page because I couldn't wait for the author to confirm my suspicions about a certain handsomely pale doctor (hint, hint!). The plot was well-drawn out, and Carly was definitely a well-developed character. I can't wait to see what happens between her and Dr. Pale Face (hint, hint!)
