This book was very much similar to another book I have recently reviewed, Green Lake by SK Epperson. TheForgotten Girls takes an uncomfortable look of the rich and the wealthy, examining the catty, horrific, and calculating ways of women. This book wasn't what I expected, but the characters were so complex and well-developed that I was literally sucked in page after page into the insane and intensely dramatic world that Steele paints. For anyone looking for a reality check (the grass isn't always greener) and a thrilling mystery, this is your book. More money, more problems!
