There was something about this book that just didn't do it for me. Sure, the plot had me a little curious at first, but then I just sort of lost interest. When this is the case, I normally do not finish the book if I am no longer interested. However, I somehow managed to finish until the vey end. There is definitely a cliffhanger in wondering who Bastian is exactly. In general, the writing was decent, but there were a few obvious grammatical errors. I didn't care for the characters or feel very attached to them. I guess the only thing that I can say is that this book just wasn't my cup of tea.
