Heir of Ra was an excellent read. I do enjoy a good suspense/mystery and I love a good "conspiracy" theory (Da Vinci Code and National Treasure), so this was definitely right up my alley. I can't say that I was able to predict what would happen as the story heightened, which is a good thing when you think about it. Overall, I really enjoyed the knowledge and respect for history that went into putting this story together. One thing that I want to point out, and it's not necessary a bad thing, but I didn't particularly feel connected to any one character. Everyone served their purpose and moved the story along. Surprisingly, something that I would be interested is in a story about Horus's life. Those moments of his life in the story were brief but so powerfully written. I am curious to see what's next!
